Short CV

  • Associate Professor at Sorbonne Université since 2015, I conduct:
    • Research in the Non-thermal Plasma Team at LPP (UMR 7648 – Sorbonne Université, CNRS, École Polytechnique)
    • Teaching activities within 3 faculties: Physics, Engineering, and Biology.
  • With a PhD in Plasma Physics from the University of Orléans (2009), I carried out six years of postdoctoral research at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (2010–2015), before being appointed at Sorbonne Université, where I obtained my Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (HDR) in 2016. After co-leading the Initiative Physique des Infinis (IPI), I am currently Deputy Director of LPP and of the Plasapar Federation. I am affiliated with the CNRS research network GDR Happybio (#2025) and with the European COST Actions in plasma medicine (PLASTHER) and plasma agriculture (PLAGRI). In addition, I am co-founder and ex-CEO of the startup Auxoway (plasma-based solutions for seeds).
  • My research focuses on cold plasma physics, with a fundamental axis dedicated to the dynamics of guided streamers and self-organization mechanisms. My applied research lies within the Life Sciences: I design and characterize cold plasma sources for medical applications (cold plasma endotherapy, treatment of biliary and lung cancers, cardiomyopathies), agriculture (dormancy breaking, seed decontamination, seedling development), biodiversity preservation in extreme ecosystems (tardigrades, halites, diatoms), as well as water treatment.
